GSSI's resident camp programs are held at the council's property, Camp Koch, near Cannelton, Indiana. Camp Koch is a safe place for girls to learn independence, test their ideas, explore new interests, and learn cooperation through group living experiences. A girl may encourage non-member friends to participate, too, but their camp registration fee will include the $15 Girl Scout membership fee. Campers are accepted without regard to race, color, national origin, or physical disabilities.

Resident camp is coordinated by a staff Resident Camp Director, along with a group of dedicated Girl Scout volunteers.
