Girl Scouts of Southwest Indiana, Inc. | Programs | Camp Koch
GSSI's resident camp facility, Camp Henry F. Koch, covers approximately 500 acres of rugged woodland in the hills along the Ohio River, near Cannelton. It is maintained and protected by a year-round resident Ranger. Several hiking trails to points of natural beauty within the camp provide an opportunity to explore nature. The developed area of the camp includes a small lake, divided into swimming and boating areas, a dining hall where campers eat family style, and living units with clusters of platform tents. Camp Koch is a safe place for girls to learn independence, test their ideas, explore new interests, and learn cooperation through group living experiences. A girl may encourage non-member friends to participate, too, but their camp registration fee will include the $15 Girl Scout membership fee. Campers are accepted without regard to race, color, national origin, or disabilities.
The 2013 Camp Season was grrrrreat!
