If you click on the one in the yellow header on this page, you'll get a calendar grid and a listing of events/dates in the green panel. Click on any of the listings and you'll get more details about the event. If you want to access dates and info about Adult Learning events, mouse over "For Volunteers" (in the yellow header at the top of this page) and slide your pointer down to the Adult Education Calendar in the right column. * RAINTREE'S NAME IS CHANGEDGirl Scouts of Raintree Council, Inc. has changed its corporate name to Girl Scouts of Southwest Indiana. New name...new, exciting, wonderful programs, same time-honored values. Congratulations!

HERE'S WHY THE CHANGEIt's part of a nationwide initiative by Girl Scouts of the USA to "...take the organization from Good to Great," according to Council CEO Jan Davies. "Our board of directors believes that the new name more clearly identifies the geographic area we serve and connects our members with the larger movement."

* REGISTER FOR LEADERFEST—LeaderFest, a wonderful day-long training/refresher for Girl Scout leaders will be held on Saturday, October 2, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, in Oakland City. At LeaderFest you can get a range of training experiences that will make your job easier and more fun for you and the girls. Besides, this is going to be F-U-N because some bigtime honors and awards are going to be given during lunch. Click here for more info and to register.

* WHAT...OR WHO...IS "IN THE KNOW???"—The definitive guide to exciting, fun, and can't-get-anywhere-else activities for girls in GSSI is entitled "In the Know." There's a brand new format this fall...the activities are arranged into two separate guides...one for girls K-5 and the other for girls in grades 6-12. They're CHOCK-FULL of things to do and leaders, parents, and girls...you should not wait one more second to mouse over "Activities for Girls" in the yellow header at the top right side of this page. The drop-down subheads will tell you what you want to know. After you've browsed through the ITK for the age level you want, make note that flyers and registration forms are available under that same heading. If you don't see absolutely everything you ever wanted to know about fun Girl Scout stuff, check out the Activities for Girls Calendar...it's dedicated to activities just for Girl Scouts. Then, keep checking throughout the year for updates that will appear on the Activities for Girls home page (just double click on "Activities for Girls" in the yellow header.)
